Ko Aarts Private Universe

Born in Zeeland in 1961, Ko Aarts currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
This young artist has also come to the public’s attention in Berlin ’99, Eindhoven, Hoorn ’94, Moscow ’93 where he held an exhibition of work at the Moscow art fair, and in Amsterdam at the Gallery De Praktijk and the Gallery Maria Chailloux.
In this show, Aarts displays a series of painted works on canvas, which are amongst his most recent output, and some pieces created especially for the occasion. Rogier Ormeling, who wrote the text for the catalogue that can be purchased in the gallery, will launch the exhibition.
