Angelo Usai Sliding

Sliding is sculptor Angelo Usai’s latest solo show in which he displays seven works and ten models produced between 1999 and 2000.
Writing about his work in the accompanying catalogue, Marco Meneguzzo declares: “Usai’s case in an exceptional one.” While Andrea del Guercio claims: “Usai’s work is driven, above all else, by the power of his expressive approach, which contains, alongside a highly personal contribution that is the product of an intense personality, values derived directly from the art historical patrimony of contemporary sculpture.”
