Emilio Belotti Vitalità delle forme

Entitled Vitalità delle forme (The Vitality of Forms), this show seeks to explore the figure/shape that stretches form to its limits and, playing cleverly with color, revives archetypes from the past with one eye on the future.
These concerns constitute part of the “novelty” that defined the art of recent years.
The canvases on display represent a further step towards maturity for Belotti’s pictorial language, in which color guides the way and the image-marks are intelligently structured moving tides. The overall effect communicates with the viewer, imparting the extraordinary sense of balance and incredible depth by which the measure and sense of discipline in Belotti’s work can be understood.
