Natale Rosselli Paesaggi toscani e Marine
This exhibition might be defined as “a blindfolded walk through emotion,” because the themes that Rosselli holds dear are Tuscan landscapes, flowers, seascapes, poppy fields, and trees.In short, nature. Rosselli’s nature returns us to a state of innocence—to an almost dream-like dimension—far from the (all too real) destruction that man inflicts on himself.
The artist’s great chromatic harmony and his technique—thick spatula loads of solid paint—render the works clear to understand and evoke the deepest of emotions. By way of the eye, Rosselli’s message gets straight to the heart, kindling sentiments and emotions that can be later relived with one’s eyes shut.
Rosselli’s painting reveals his soul: he is a sensitive chronicler of an untainted world, transmitting ecological images as a means of defending the value of nature.
The exhibition is like a private diary, which seeks to offer visitors an authentic, emotionally involving vision of a pure relationship with the world, what is in it, and what goes on there.
