The Gallery Gioacchini, founded in March 1975, celebrated its “25 years of exhibitions” in the year 2000 with solo exhibitions by Enzo Cucchi and Renato Guttuso. During these 25 years, the gallery has been the theatre of high-level exhibitions. Just to quote some of them: Bartolini, Cantatore, Tassinari, Cucchi, Licini, Mattioli, Migneco, Morloti, Moranti, Sassu, Tamburi. Since 1993, it has been the only gallery authorized to predispose the general archive and to carry out the authentications of Orfeo Tamburi. Since January 2001, it is the national exclusivist for the spreading of the painting work of Daniele Fissore. It is also the referent of the artist Aligi Sassu. In 1999, another location of the gallery was inaugurated in Cortina d’Ampezzo in the downtown Corso Italia 116/b. In February 2001, the Gallery Gioacchini opened a new location in Milan in via San Marco 26 (Brera area), with a solo exhibition by Aligi Sassu.
