11 Duke Street is a partnership of Simon Lee and Roberto Shorto and was founded in December 1996. The gallery specializes in major post-war and contemporary art by leading international artists and covers paintings, sculpture, photography and works on paper. The gallery provides advice to private and public collectors in acquiring and disposing of works of art for their collections and has quickly established itself as one of the most important secondary market galleries in London. The gallery holds exhibitions that reflect the range of its activities and also the interests of the partnership. We aim to present works by established artists who are less frequently seen in the UK, but who are of great importance and influence to the development of art in this country. In addition, we are interested in showing works by younger, up-and-coming artists who are not yet formally represented, and we aim to develop this aspect of our work in the future on a project basis.
