The Astuni Gallery rises in 1992 in Fano. Its main goal has been, to introduce itself in the international market with exhibitions of artists well known in the Contemporary Art scenery. That is why it mainly dealt with Artists already known in the Art system, thus continuously creating with them pathways specifically conceived for the area of Fano. In this direction, with its activity, it played an important cultural role within the city, in which it can boast of being the most important gallery, thus assuring itself a prominent position even among the galleries of the entire region. The Astuni Gallery has, above all, arranged exhibitions in co-operation with the public administration of Fano and carried out an information and presentation campaign of Contemporary Art, recently opened to lab educational experiences of contemporary art for the schools of the area. On the contrary, the choice of the artists is beyond any territorial view, as the co-operation with other galleries. The exhibitions were supported with documents and exclusive colour catalogues. The Astuni Gallery took part in the most important fairs, including Brussels, Gant, Strasburg, Madrid and Bologna, and opened a second location in Pietrasanta with an exhibition of Luigi Ontani, arranged by Achille Bonito Oliva. Among the first exhibitions of the galleries, there are the ones dedicated to Omar Galliani in 1994, to Bruno Ceccobelli in 1995, to Concetto Pozzati in 1996, to Emilio Tadini and to Aldo Mondino in 1997, to Luigi Ontani in 1998, to Carla Accardi in the year 2000.
