Founded in 1985, Kent Fine Art/Kent Gallery have concentrated on the curatorial interpretation of the late 19th to mid-20th Century avant-garde artists such as Medardo Rosso, Francis Picabia, John Heartfield, Herbert Bayer and Reginald Butler as viewed through a contemporary portal. In addition, Kent regularly presents selected mid-career contemporary painters, sculptors and media-oriented artists of record. With regard to original research on the visual arts, Kent has published over 30 monographs on various historical and curatorial projects.
