The Bolzani Art Gallery, based in Milan, first in via Sant'Andrea then in via Montenapoleone, has been working in the field of applied art since 1908. In 1938 it moved to Corso Matteotti, where it has remained until today, with no interruptions not even during the war. The gallery has hosted more than a thousand solo exhibitions of applied painting and sculpture, with a preference for figurative art from the mid 19th century to date. The gallery was founded by the Commendatore Guido Bolzani, was later directed by his son Benigno and is, at present, a company managed by Alberto Bolzani, the grandson of the founder.
