Established in 1968, Nuovo Spazio Gallery opens with an exhibition of up-and-coming artists as Mario Ceroli, Concetto Pozzati, Beppe De Valle, Germano Olivotto, Federica Bertino, Sandro De Alexandris and Claudio Verna. The Art Gallery’s activity goes on with masters’ and up-and-coming artists’ exhibitions: Salvador Dalě, Renato Volpini, Enrico Baj nel 1972, Picasso e Marino Marini nel 1973, Virgilio Guidi, Federica Bertino, Lucio Fontana (works on paper), the first posthumous exhibition of Roberto Crippa, with the presence of Mrs. Baggini Crippa; Doris Reitter (Austria), Giacomo Manzů; Zoran Music in 1981 (an exhibition of 50 paintings), Le Cloirec (France), Yeon-Tak Chang (Korea), Yoichi Ohira ( Japan), Antonio Mŕro (Peru), Tullio Crali in 1978, Tancredi Parmeggiani in 1980, Andy Warhol, Giovanni D’Agostino (a conceptual artist), Luigi Veronesi. Among the most recent exhibitions: Mimmo Rotella in 1996, Romano Canotti, in cooperation with “Denise René” Gallery of Paris and Spazialisti veneti ( Venitian artists of Spatialism) in 1997, Luciano Chinese in Villa De Brandis, S.Giovanni al Natisone (Udine), at Palazzo delle Prigioni Vecchie (The Old Prisons Palace) in St.Marco, Venice in 1995, at Villa Nazionale Pisani, in Stra (Venice), at the Kursaal, in Abano Terme (Padua), in the St.Giusto Castle, Trieste in 1998, at the National Library of Gorizia in 1999. Nuovo Spazio Gallery participated several times to the Art Fair in Bologna, and to Art Fairs in Bari and in Udine. On 30 September 2000 a new centre was opened in Udine (via Manin 8 int.7 – Palazzo Manin, tel and fax 0432 204163 – 203317), with an exhibition of works of Afro, Bacci, Lucio Fontana, Marino Marini, Mascherini, Sebastian Matta, Music, Pignon, Man Ray, Mimmo Rotella, Scanavino, Tancredi, Marc Tobey, Alberto Viani, Giuseppe Zigaina. The Gallery continues its activity with an exhibition of Maurice Henry and Keizo Morishita’s, a Japanese artist ,in Udine and then in Venice-Mestre (go to “Exhibitions”). In programme.
