Jessica Bronson Panamint Tilt

Jessica Bronson’s video installations and monitor works, with accompanying sound, capture and reorder into extraordinary proportions the ephemera of every day. An extensive knowledge of film informs the artists work, as does an engagement with natural and mediated experience. Panamint Tilt is the title of the installation and the main work in the exhibition: a large-scale projection, depicting a highly distorted, doubled and reversed view of the desert basin and the Panamint Range in Death Valley.
