Since 1983 the gallery L’Ariete is directed by Patrizia Raimondi and since 1992, it is a member of the National Association Galleries of Modern Art, of which Patrizia Raimondi is vice-president for the region Emilia Romagna.
The main goals of the gallery are the parallel proposals of the aspects of European modern art, often in co-operation with cultural institutions and emerging artists of the latest Italian and international scenery, with special attention for art collecting. These are some of the cultural partners the gallery has co-operated with in the last few years: the Institute of German Culture, the British Council, Southwest University in Marshall, MN (USA).
The gallery participated to various contemporary art fairs such as Art Cologne, Cologne; Artefiera, Bologna; Art Multiple, Düsseldorf; Artissima, Turin; Kunstkoln, Cologne; Saga, Paris; Lineart, Gent.
Among the most relevant exhibitions, there are the retrospective ones, dedicated to the photography of the Bauhaus, Wols, William Congdon and the solo exhibitions of contemporary artists, such as Georg Baselitz, Mimmo Paladino, Joe Tilson, Bruno Cecobelli, Horst Janssen, Omar Galliani, Alfred Hrdlicka, Toshihiko Minamoto, Bruno Donzelli, Jiri Anderle.
