The Council of Milan has allocated $ 275,730 (€ 304,700) to restore works of art donated to the city located in Sempione park, Milan. They will be cleaned, repaired and protected with an anti-graffiti and anti-corrosion film. The monuments to be cared for include Il Ponte delle Sirenette by the architect Tettamanzi; the amphitheatre Accumulazione musicale e seduta by Arman; Il grande motivo by Francesco Somaini and Chiosco by Giorgio Amodio Roccamonte. Giorgio de Chirico’s fountain Bagni misteriosi located behind Palazzo delle Triennale will not be restored for the moment (in spite of it’s seriously deteriorated state) due to a lack of sponsors.
