The US site, NYPOST.COM, reported on the 17th of October that the remnants of a sculpture by US artist Alexander Calder entitled Bent Propeller, have been found in the wreckage of the World Trade Center, a month after the tragedy. Now a crushed and burned mass, the 8 metre red steel sculpture had stood on the plaza outside 7 World Trade Center and was believed to have been worth $ 2.5 million (€ 2.7 million). "It's good to see something positive coming out of all this," said one of the salvage workers.
