The Tate Gallery, London will announce this year's Turner Prize winner at a ceremony at the newly relaunched Tate Britain on December 9. Shortlisted artists for this year's $ 28,450 (€ 32,000) controversial prize include Richard Billingham, Martin Creed, Isaac Julien and Mike Nelson. An exhibition of the artists' work has been on display from November 7 – 20 January 2002 at Tate Britain. According to the “Guardian” of London the critical favourite is Isaac Julien's two films, one notably a collaboration with the choreographer Javier de Frutos, which almost landed him in the courts when the two partners fought over the correct form of credit.
