From the 4th to the 8th of January the fair Art Miami 2002 will be running at the Convention Center in Miami Beach. Having reached its twelfth edition, Art Miami is one of the most important international events for Latin American art. More than a third of the 100 galleries participating come from Central America, South America and from Spain. Among the initiatives not to be missed is the “Currents” section, reserved to the latest trends of international art. The sponsors of the 2002 edition are Audi, the quarterly “ArtNexus” and the daily newspapers “The Miami Herald” and “el Nuevo Herald”. (Elena Balzani)
